AI – powerful, but nothing without my team of human reviewers

As I’ve mentioned many times here on Dartschool.ai: I write all my content myself, but I use AI (in my case: ChatGPT) as a sounding board, rewriting assistant, and structure machine. A kind of digital sidekick that’s always ready with suggestions, edits, and language tips. Bliss.

But let me be very clear: AI does a good job — my reviewers do a better one.

Why AI is useful… but not enough

I’ll be honest: without AI, I could never create the amount of content I do now. The e-books, the workshops, the exercises, the emails, the blogs… it’s a lot. Thanks to AI, I can work faster and smarter. I get feedback as I write, I can explore different angles, and I generate versions tailored to all kinds of readers.

But here’s the thing: no AI understands my darters the way my human reviewers do.

AI helps me write good texts. But to make them right – human, clear, practical – I need people. I need my reviewers.

The power of human feedback

Human feedback isn’t a luxury – it’s a must when creating solid educational material. Why?

  • Humans sense what works and what doesn’t – even if the grammar is flawless.

  • They spot confusion, vagueness or clutter – things AI often overlooks.

  • They read with fresh, critical eyes – sometimes as a player, sometimes as a reader, sometimes as a trainer.

A reviewer says, “That explanation on p.12? Didn’t quite follow.”

And that’s the moment I know: bingo. That’s where I need to improve. That’s what turns a good text into a great one.

My ideal workflow:

Me → AI → me → reviewers → me

Let me be fully transparent about my process:

  1. First draft: I write a rough version.

  2. AI support: I use ChatGPT to improve the structure, tone, and suggest alternatives.

  3. My edit: I fine-tune everything in my own voice – Dartschool-style.

  4. Review phase: Then I send it to my trusted reviewers. They read, comment, send back.

  5. Final version: I implement their feedback to create the final version.

This way, I avoid bothering them with 10 half-finished versions. AI does the heavy lifting, my reviewers handle the precision work. And together, we raise the bar.

A heartfelt thank you

I don’t say it enough, but I feel it every day: I’m incredibly lucky to have you all by my side. You volunteer your time to review my material, give honest feedback, and actively contribute to the growth of Dartschool.

Sometimes I have to pinch myself – that I get to do this, and that I get to do it with you.

Thank you for every comment, every suggestion, every review:
